How do I use php within a template? PHP tags don't work, and I can't find any alternative tag in the documentation.

Add it to the file itself, not the template.
You can't add PHP in templates unless you use a plugin.
The reason I need PHP is to include a list of latest blog topics. I didn't want to touch the php files
You can use JS to include RSS.
Thanks, I didn't think about that. But because I only want to include the title of each blog post, RSS isn't the best option.
I think that the documentation about writing plugins is quite poor, but I've managed to write one, so my problem has been solved
You can use RSS for that, just make a RSS feed that only displays the title of each blog post.
