hello all,
I have just installed and setting up the forums so I do not want any one registering,
Is it possible to switch off registrations, I tried every combination of phrases for a search in order to locate the answer but cannot seem to find the part to do it.

Go to your Admin Panel -> Configurations -> User Registration and Profile Options and select No for Disable Registrations.

I cant tell you how many times I tried to find that setting.

You can also go to Admin CP > General Configuration > Board Offline & Online settings > Select Board is offline.
Then no one can view or post on your forum.

Yes but he wants people to see his board, just not register
