So your saying that the captcha that comes with MyBB does not work in 1.4.13 ??
as I havent got it either .
All the captcha tags are there {$captcha} but it isnt displaying anywhere
Can I get verified that the Captcha that comes with Mybb 1.4.13 does not work ?
Site is http://punktorrents.com
Try and register and you'll see its not there
and it is enabled in the acp and as i said the tags are in the templates
Can anyone give me a list of files to check ( anything to do with the captcha function )
Thanks
why dont you try and just change the fonts in the capcha?
Ok here is where to make sure that you have capcha

Brand new fresh install of 1.4.13 and no captcha on registration
So what is the problem?
centos 5.5 php 5.2.13 apache 2.2 gd enabled
Anyone?
all I can think of is Linux don't you need special permissions and because of that maybe that captcha folder needs special permissions correct?
ok tried it
Set the whole subdomain to 777
Still not showing
Im going to reupload a new copy and try again
Ok I installed mybb on another server of mine
http://ozseller.com
Captcha works there so its a server related issue
hmmm....But what ?

Ok fixed it
Had to run Easy Apache in whm
I reverted My apache back to 2 Instead of 2.2
and the api was apche so i changed that to cgi/fastcgi
I also re-installed GD so its working now .
I didnt set this new server up so I didnt think of the server software
Cheers for your time Big Grin
