I am having the problem with certain boards which I want to keep hidden from the public which works fine until someone visits the cached version of the site where they are on full view for everybody to see. I need to fix this soon due to the fact we are growing fast and the information in there is important.

Cached as in Google cache?? Nothing you can do about it, if that's what it's cached, that's what it's cached, you'll have to wait until it crawls again. I don't think you can block users specifically using Google cache.

No, no it's when a user directly enters the lite/archive mode. It's showing all the hidden forums

I think, it's Admin CP > Configuration > Board Settings > Forum Home Options > Hide Private Forums = Yes
