MyBB Community Forums

Is there a plugin which allows the guests to see the threads in particular forums when they click on the forum, but when actually going to read the topics it comes up with the permission etc.

I have tried that plugin "Guests cant view threads" and also tried the "Tips + Tricks" thing, so I am guessing MYBB has changed something. None of it worked.

I am hoping that someone can possibly either make me a quick plugin or tell me a way to do it or add another option.

No plugin needed.
On the desired forum, options > permissions > edit/set permissions
Tick '' can view forum ''
Untick '' can view threads within forum ''

so, you want the topics listed?

Yes so the guests can see the topics in the forums that I choose so like 70% of the forum they can go into the forum and see the topic list, but when actually trying to view the thread, it doesnt allow them.

iBf's doesnt work, it stops them viewing the topic list.

It is not possible by default.
You will have to write a plugin for it
