Well I was up till 6 last night making this, and I'm still working on it. I don't know if I want to keep it or not, so I want your opinions on what can be changed and maybe I will like it a little more

Who's "John Doe"? I see it on a lot of templates, but I never thought it might be like Lipsum.
John Doe is a name for anyone that wants to keep their identity a secret or if they are dead with no id. If you ever seen a crime show when they have a unidentified person they say who's our john doe or jane doe if they're female.
Thanks, Rozzy. I'm not sure I like the menu... Just plain color doesn't look good, I want to change it a little but I don't know how I can enhance it.
It looks really good trust me. To enhance it a little more, add a gradient to the link's backgrounds.
I added a white reflected gradient to to. I like it a little better now.

I might turn the opacity on the gradient down a little more though.
The wood background looks kinda cheap. Get something better.
Yeah I agree. I'm not a huge fan of the background, but I just wanted something simple.
