Hello all. I am the admin of my forum. I have noticed that If I am logged into my forum, and email a link of a thread to a fellow member, and he is not logged in at the time, he can enter and post on the forum under my user name.

The interesting thing is, this seems to just happen with one member, who is in Japan. I have tried it with some other moderators and they get to the forum and are instructed to log in.

I know it is not some whacky hacker or anything, he is a good mate and too much a technophobe to even have a clue as in doing anything untoward.

This has happened between us several times before and it has got me stumped.

any clues ?

He must have your password and username somewhere stored. Maybe try to clear his cache, cookies, passwords, etc?

Hi Bob, that was my thought, and it may be that when I visited him last, I logged into the forum form his house. He has said he cleared it, maybe he forgot LOL. I will try that again.
