Hello everyone. I've been searching far and wide, looking through pages and pages, and I cannot seem to find a WordPress theme I like.
I'm looking for a WordPress theme that's clean, sleek, and modern looking. At the same time, it should be simple, two columns, and blog-format (not magazine, portfolio, etc.). While not necessary, Blue is a good color.
I need this for a Swimming blog that I want to create. It will need to have ad placements, although I am pretty creative with that.
Some themes I like:
http://www.mightyguide.net/ - This is the ideal theme, although I wouldn't want to use the exact same one (this is my friend's blog, and he wouldn't appreciate it).
http://webrevolutionary.com/coldblue/ - ColdBlue isn't bad, but it's a little TOO simple - it doesn't really have the modern, sleek feeling I want.
http://demo.themelab.com/index.php?wptheme=RS12 - This theme is great, almost perfect. However, I wanted to remove the header and change some things around, but the coding proved to be too much of a mess.
Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm also not looking for themes that have lots of sponsorship links or encrypted files.
