I was wondering can any one create a mybb backup plugin? I think this plugin would be very helpful to mybb users... I got the idea from one of wordpress popular plugins (wp db back up )

Are you running Cpanel? If so KuJoe has a great tut on it.

There is a backup feature in MyBB. Have a look in "Tools and Maintenance" and then "Database Backup"

Or, if you have cPanel, just backup the Database and Files using the backup feature.
