just need some opinions on the colors and general look of what ive put together so far for an upcoming site

So what do you have so far?

sorry thought the attachment made it on the first post..
the header is still being worked out with the code so it doesn't show the search, members list etc right now

The header looks quite good I think.
But the best thing to do would be to match the header colours with the rest of the forum.

oh well

Take good care of one thing while choosing a color scheme, i.e the content must be easlily readable. I have seen many sites with black background and white color-fonts. That is really a bad selection.
