That plugin hasn't been updated since 2008. I imagine seo stuff has changed by now, since it is a constantly evolving thing and requires updates all the time.
I believe your problem is that mod_rewrite is disabled on your host. I imagine this plugin needs it(though I haven't ever touched seo stuff because I don't think it's necessary for my sites). There might be security issues with doing this as well. Not exactly sure. I will leave that to someone with more knowledge to tell you.
Look into this thread. I believe this one is better updated and has better instructions and support.

You was right...The plugin that you recomended me is better..
Thanks
no problem, glad I could help. It's about time I started to give something back to mybb.
There is no need for a SEO plugin, just use a sitemap rather, it is free and worth no hassle, and easy to use

Sitemap is done by the Google SEO plugin. Having MyBB generate the Sitemap is the only way to get something that's accurate and always up-to-date.
Don't use third party Sitemap generators - all they do is crawl your site, and you end up with lot of bad links in the Sitemap. Crawling is best left to the Search engines themselves.

True, just get your site into a open directory, and there you go, Google will find you
