Hate to keep bumping, but forum now live and I still have the same issue Sad

(2018-08-13, 02:16 PM)NotAdmin Wrote: [ -> ]Members have noted the following issue

Quote:The number in brackets next to View Unread Posts is incorrect when viewing an unread post

Quote:Just happened again, so I carefully noted what happened, just in case it helps diagnosis.
  • When viewing a thread I noticed that <View Unread Posts(3)> was displayed on the title bar.
  • I clicked on <View Unread Posts(3)> on the title bar. One unread thread was displayed that contained two unread posts. <View Unread Posts(2)> was now displayed on the title bar.
  • I clicked on the unread thread. Two unread posts were displayed and were labelled Unread Post #1 and Unread Post #2. <View Unread Posts(5)> was now displayed on the title bar.
  • I clicked on <View Unread Posts(5)> on the title bar. An empty list was displayed and <View Unread Posts(0)> was displayed on the title bar.
Note that no threads were created during the above scenario. I could even use the browsers backwards and forwards buttons to check that I had noted the sequence correctly.

This issue has just been noted, but I have been informed by another member that  it is something they have seen before

Any ideas?
OK, same here, I can reproduce this issue Sad
Got prodded this morning on the above error, so a quick bump to keep it in view
Hello everybody,

I like this plugin and my users want some extra feature.

It would be nice if its possible to show the unread posts in two seperated categories On-Topic and Off-Topic.
So I clikc on Unread Posts and I have the first table with unread posts of forums which I declare as On-Topic and then after a break there is a second table with unread posts which I also declare as Off-Topic Forums.

Is something like that possible?
I have uninstalled previous and installed latest View Unread Posts (1.11)

but still nothing visible on my screen

I am using Dark-Fire theme

Probably a template is missing?

help is appreciated

Did you personally purchase that theme?

Contact the author of that theme, Misharnet at MyBB Themes.

Hi @lukasamd,

Right now "Unread Posts (0)" looks like that.

It is possible to change "(X)" to different color when is 1 and more?

Something like that:

"Unread Posts (1)"
You have to use template conditional plugin for that.

@lukasamd - I see that there is a new version but according to your GitHub reponthere is just a change in version number, am I wrong?
Yep, it's only minor update to fix version info (I forgot about this last time)
