I have come from developing a lot of mods for SMF and do like the allowing of users to upload language translations for plugins/mods and allowing the mod author to specify a license for their work.

Some feature ideas for mod site:
-Get notified when your plugin/mod/theme is approved
-Auto create a topic in the release forum if it is a plugin

The second one has been planned for ages, first one could be done too.

Didn't the blog post say that the changes planned for the mods site would include auto-thread creation?

Both of these things are planned for the next major update to the mods site which is in development at the moment.

Good news can't wait for it
