MyBB Community Forums

I came across this site, and found a really awesome page they have called a Site Monitor. I am guessing it used ajax or jquery (whatever) to live update the page with all the new goings. It looks like its been made for a blog and forums but if it something could be made like this:

- New guest visit
- New member registered
- New post
- New thread
- Member reaches 10,50,100,150,200,400.. and so on posts

Does anyone think this would be a good plugin or not? Any additions too it you want to add?

Not even close to what was requested. xSpy only monitors new posts, unless it's been updated with other features.

I think people will use it for a plugin. On many sites and plugins related to that are called "Spy" as you can spy on all the activity.

It's the closest thing MyBB has that I'm aware of.

Altho xSpy is still far from what I am wanting to get out of this plugin request, its a similar concept, but needs to be more powerful. I did see xSpy a few days ago, I would just want more information displayed and a really nice auto updating list, using ajax or jquery, where you get the effect of all current listings sliding down and the new one fades in.

I know this is digging up an old post, but is anyone willing or able to create this? I have found yet another example now which can be found here http://www.facepunch.com/fp_ticker.php
