i've already contacted the plugin creator to see if he wants to fix it

Well, the feed does exist, so I would contact your hosting company about enabling allow_url_fopen

Now is making more trouble with another payed plugin.
i will report the bug to the plugin developer

I reported this to ZingaBurga. In fact the plugin was updated from 1.2 to 1.4 by Tomm, but ZingaBurga did give a potential fix on MYBBhacks.zingaburga.com.
