As you can see the horizontal scroll bar is unnecessarily showing. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, when replying to a topic, sometimes it will stop and a blank page would show, only after refreshing will it take me back to the original topic.

I see no horizontal scroll.

I'm using google chrome on a 1280X720 screen resolution.

Firefox 1024 x 768 is where it shows the horizontal scroll for some reason bro.

I don't see any problem on 1024x768 on Chrome.
This isn't a problem with MyBB, it's an issue on your end.

Do you have the advanced quick reply plugin installed??

The header seems to big for 1024px, when I resize my window to 1024px width and have my screen on a 1280x800 resolution I see the horizontal bar. Try putting the header in the container class.
