Is it weird that I can't think of any must haves for every forum? I mean maybe and ad management plugin but otherwise I can't think of any I would use on every single forum.
Ads are not an exciting "feature" in a forum atleast not for members
GameSection and Page Manager are my two favorites.

Never used any of those plugins. I usually try to use as little plugins as possible besides askimet, ad manager and social/donate plugins.

Not too hard to manually dump an ad into the templates, and I think a donate button would be just as easy. Now I just need to make a mobile theme...
