Is there any way to set it so people can comment on calendar events? Also, can I add an RSVP system? Like Facebook?

What do you mean add Facebook? You mean a comment page on someones profile or a status update? If so they're are tons of plugins like a Facebook Chat, status update plugins, profile comments, etc.
