MySQL 6 is an alpha release. Use a stable MySQL version like 5.1

Don't use AppServ Open Project. Use xampp instead: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html#641 (take the 51 MB EXE)

You can try renaming Type=MyISAM in the database sql files to Engine=MyISAM

Why did you try and bump twice within 9 minutes?? Is that too log to have to wait for an answer...??

MyBB hasn't even been tested on MySQL 6 at all, I don't believe it's anywhere near a proper release.
