Hello,

I installed myBB 1.4.

As suggested in the install docs I uploaded the contents of the local upload folder into the subfolder /forum that I made on my server.

After I installed everything the end result is that my forum link now goes to
example.co.cc/forum/index.php

I would like to skip out the forum part and have it linked to example.co.cc/index.php instead.

Is there an easy way that I can do this or do I need to reinstall?

I have tried it, but when I have copied it all into the parent folder and need to edit in admin cp the board config it logs me out of admin cp every time I do something. I save the board url, forum url and cookie url, and then when I save it it automatically logs me out of admin cp. I get back in and see the changes I made were not made and it all still goes to the previous url.
So there is no way for me to save my new changes to board config in admin cp.

Also, when I tried to go to the new url all my themeing and buttons are off...

So for now I copied everything back to where it was...

Any suggestions?

You'd need to edit them in ./inc/settings.php and then do it in the ACP afterwards.

For your first problem, go to inc/settings.php
Change all the URLs to meet your new one.

As for the your next problem, go to the ACP then go to "Templates&Style". Then click on your theme and change the URLs.
