Hello,

I am using MyBB version 1.4.8 for my forum myfamilyheritage.net/forum. I found out that members cannot properly login to the forum. The username is correct, the password is correct. The forum has accepted the username and password, but it still shows Login-Register link instead of Welcome back, user...

This is how to replicate the issue:

-go to myfamilyheritage.net/forum
-Login using the following information:

username: kryptonite
password: EtG5P86t

You will see that the forum has accepted the information, but still you are not yet login.

Is there anything I should do?

You should upgrade your forum software to 1.4.13 before we can help you. There have been many important security and bug fixes since 1.4.8.

Edit ./inc/settings.php and chnage your cookie domain to .myfamilyheritage.net and then do it in the ACP.

And yes, you also need to upgrade.
