Hi there my website was working fine but when I tried to go back to my site later it wont load and in stead shows this message:

"Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."


Any help would be appreciated.

Have you modified your .htaccess file in anyway?
Try renaming it to see if that's the problem.

Very little we can do about this, it's a very generic error, could be caused by anything. If you've not changed anything at all I'd ask your host, a 500 error is often something on their end.

I havent touched anything, I guess it will be down to the host. I will open a ticket with them.

If I may ask, what is your host? I used to be with a host that would 500 like every 3 page loads.
