General Forums are pointless. Plenty of them, 25 started in one day. Seriously, get a proper topic you can discuss, like Harry Potter for example, and set up forums for it.

There are hundreds of Harry Potter forums out there too. Your point isn't valid. Unless you're going to create a forum about hemoptysis in animals, then there are bound to be similar sites.
