Does MyBB hibernate when there no member activity?
no it only hibernates when you don't get visits (because tasks are executed when someone visits your forum).
If MyBB is not being loaded by anyone, tasks will not run and nothing from MyBB will work. So yes, it does 'hibernate' in that sense.

It is ready to go as soon as someone goes to any page though.
So search engine spider bots would trigger maintenance tasks. Or maybe I asked my question wrong. I was trying to determine server load from scheduled maintenance tasks when there are multiple days of no activity. IOW, if nobody is posting, these tasks are unnecessary.
