have you setup a mysql db before if I may ask? If not I can asist you with the install setup. LMK and feel free to PM me as well if you would like to.
Did you make sure to create the database you want to use for MyBB first? You can do this using your webhosts control panel (or through PhpMyAdmin, if your host allows).
I don't think that the MyBB setup wizard creates the database for you.
I created a new db, named it myBB, gave it all privileges and of cource added a user.
Am i supposed to do something more?

Are you sure that the capitalisation of the database name you specified is correct? "No database selected" usually means the database name is wrong or the user doesnt have permissions to access it.

I doublechecked it. All info were correctly inserted. But, we are humans. I may have made some mistake.
I'll give it another try sometime later cos currently i have pretty much work.
