Why not add a shoutbox to mybb.com, I honestly love the small talk.

Because this is a showcase of what MyBB can do. They can't add everything.

That wouldn't happen, just my thought.

If you want to have small talk join the MyBB IRC Channel.

It won't happen. This forum is what a lot of people see first when they find MyBB from a sites footer. A chatbox is great for communities. Not for support forums. Also MyBB can't advertise features that aren't included.
