Hello all,
I first imported my database and now will install mybb. So the question I want to ask is that do I need to do anything extra other than installing mybb i.e do I need to edit any file.

You should of installed MyBB first...then import your db.

ok. But still will I need to edit any files when before installing mybb, one have imported database first.

If ./inc/config.php is already pointing to the database, then no.
