Well, many people seem to think that The Admin Forum's template is too bland. So I'm recreating it, mostly using the same color scheme.

This is what I have so far. Mainly it's just the header I'm working on, the trow isn't looking how I want and probably won't until I develop on an actual forum. This is just a basic sample, to show how elements will appear and their colors.

Also, one more thing: http://www.theadminforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=13

I changed around the template so that it is similar to that of vBulletin mainly for SEO purposes and because I feel it looks nicer. Is it worth keeping for this new template?
Not too keen on the sky blue, but i like dark themes Smile

Looks like a good start
I may change it to grey. I'm not sure yet.
It looks a little generic. Like I've seen it before. The logo with the welcomeblock and a menu under it.. It should be more unique.
I agree with Joshee, it's a bit too generic. I personally don't like the gradients you have on the trows, but you said that yourself.

Also, what do you mean with "I changed around the template so that it is similar to that of vBulletin"?
I like the full width version you have on Admin Forums Now. I do agree that it's not the greatest. But the full width style is good.

Here's a live copy of what I have so far: http://www.theadminforums.net/new/index.php

It is generic, but it seems alright.

Changing around the template means that I got rid of the title in the thead and put a search box, and added in a title and description above it: http://www.theadminforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=5
Ohh I see, I think it's a good thing to keep. Perhaps making the forum name and description more noticeable?
