How do you make borders like the ones at the announcements at mybbsource.com ?

Menu bar?? Not totally sure what you're referring to but it's just CSS, so put it with the other CSS for the element...

The menu bar that says Search, Members, Calendar.

Well that hasn't got any corners to round by default does it. If you've got a different layout on your forum we can't say where to put the code without seeing the layout.

Yeah, that area has no border or container with any corners to round... the closest thing to those links that does is the welcomeblock, where it says Hello There, Guest! (Login — Register) or Welcome back..., if that's where you mean it's the #panel class.

Copy the other border templates?

Yeah, it would help if it had a border before you tried to round it

Not sure what you mean by 'border templates', just add CSS for a border to the .menu class... it's basic CSS.
