How do I reset my statistics?

I got 280 posts in the first day of opening, but since I've had this forum opened for about 30-40 days, it says 8 posts /day but it's actually higher.

There is no option for that, perhaps tweak around in the database. I never look into this but I am sure there is a way to change this.

Recount & rebuild > recount statistics

Rebuild the stats cache in the ACP.
