According to my host, JustHost, the mass mailing zDawg32 sent out on my forum got my account suspended. I submitted a ticket to them and they asked if they could remove task.php in order to unsuspend my account.
Should I let them remove task.php?
No, task.php is important to clean-up and maintenance tasks in the background. I don't know why it could be a reason for the suspension.
It would depend if you had set the tasks to run every minute or something.
just disable the mass mail task and let them you disabled that mass mail function. task.php is required for maintenance
Mass mail task would only do anything if you've created any mass mail. The backup task is probably the heaviest task but really your host should be able to manage all of them on a forum of your size.
