Hey, I'm having a problem on my forum. Stuff is changing, and when I review the Admin log I don't see any indication that it was changed.

For example, our information/feedback/suggestions forum just randomly disallowed certain usergroups (which should have the permission) to make threads.

And, this one user is constantly placed into our Event Managers group.


Does anyone know why this is happening?


Also, how do I make Posting Title stars show up in posts, as a replacement for the usergroup stars?

The database can't update itself... there's nothing in the ACP logs at all??

Nothing I can see.

Was that user ever a member in the Event Group and did you ever changed the settings before these weird activities were going on? If so your host might be uploading old database backups. Also disable your plugins and search for weird scripts in your MyBB folder.

No he wasn't, and okay will do. Just so you know, I think it's stopped.
