As many of you know I have another thread, I am having trouble performing backups. Nobody has found a soloution as of yet, SO I am asking weather there is an alternative way to perform backups other than using the ACP option. My hosting uses CPanel if that helps...

I think CPanel has the option, but you can also export the database from phpMyAdmin.
Since you have cPanel, do this.
Login to cPanel and Navigate to "Backups"
On that page, you should see a list of all of your Databases. Simply click the one you wish to download.
You can also restore Database Backups via that page as well.

yes, or from phpmyadmin can export as sql file.
