Just ran into a problem, I want to know if there is a fix without remerging. The apostrophe is turning into a ^a looking symbol.
Please let me know if there is a way to fix this without remerging.

It's a closed board that I don't own but that I help with. I finally got them to let me convert to mybb. So I am not really allowed to do that. But I can post what is being seeing. I will try to get the old forum up on my computer to see what it should be. :p

Also, perhaps you could post the value for this post from the database from both the old and new? That would help too. I should have asked for that before lol.
EDIT: And what character set were your phpBB3 tables in?
I had thought that they were utf -8. I suppose it's possible I was off. I will get the data values and post them after class and edit this post.
