I never knew this was a problem, although a person stated they can't give another reputation after two days, although I set it to 1/day.

No, they shouldn't really have a problem like this. Can you too come up with the same result (not being able to rep a user with 1/day)?

He let me borrow access to his account, I tested it, it allowed me to repute myself, since he was trying to repute me. Although he stated that the error was occurring a few hours back.
I don't really understand the fault here?
