I never knew it didn't exist till now. In the pm system it would be very appropriate to add the ability to mark multiple private messages as read.

Since it isn't a major feature I thought I would throw it out there really quick. It's something that I was stunned to find didn't exist default.

Are you receiving PMs that quickly that you can't keep up?

No, but upon merge of a new site from phpbb 3 have of them decided to turn up unread. I know I can run a simple sql query But, regardless of that I think it's a very basic feature. I am being asked by members of this forum now for that ability, not just to mark it for them. So it made sense to try. I don't see it as being a "major feature" so I thought there might be a chance. Not that it is a big deal. I can always code it myself for the forum.

Well yes, it is a basic feature but it has very few practical applications.
