This is a feature with IPB that I like.

Basically what it is:

In the ACP there's a list of different devices/browsers.

Ex:

Safari
Chrome
Firefox
IE
iPod Touch Safari
iPhone Safari
iPod Touch Opera
iPhone Opera
Mobile Phones
Smartphones
etc
etc

Anyway, it allows you to set different settings for each device/browser. From viewing settings to themes. I think this would be a good addition to MyBB as it would enable users to create Mobile Themes Easier.

Yeah I like the idea.
We'd just need to find the User Agent string of each browser.

Actually come to think of it as a temporary solution surely you could use the spiders/bots page for it. That has code for setting other themes for different user strings. That would only be available for guests though

I have a plugin that shows different themes for different UAs. It doesn't work if a specific forum has a theme override due to lack of plugin hooks but for most cases it works.

Yeah, I plan on using it on one of my sites once I've finished it's mobile theme.
