Whilst making a new forum with MyBB 1.4.13 it all of a sudden stopped login in, but only with firefox as far as i can tell windows explorer is unaffected and will let you login. But with firefox you get the splash screen saying you have successfully logged in ext but when you are redirected back to index.php you are not logged in??? I haven't changed anything and the plug-ins were all working fine before this happened, i don't have a clue what has happened, any ideas?
Please check if your cookie settings are set right.
Thanks guy's it was the cookie settings still don't get why it worked fine then just stoped but all is fine now.
/\/\ take it back now i can not log out from the front end or make any changes using any web browser in the ACP but i did what it says in the link, forum url is
http://www.ukforums.org so i set Cookie Domain to .ukforums.org and cookie path to /
Strange but i have now put the settings back to how they were by editing inc/settings and all is fine
me thinks there are gremlins running around
Any changes you make in settings.php have to be made again in the ACP.
You should change your cookie domain from .www.ukforums.org to .ukforums.org otherwise it won't work if people don't access your site with www. in the URL.
