Blue Imp is the best, but buggy at the best.
i did uploaded the ajax chat mybb plugin before as trying to install it which the install.php came up blank
anything else is better than ajax??
use tufat 5$ chat, using integration and the extra help via the forum and I got it installed, auto login, additional rooms based on usergroups, navigagion link and 'who is chatting' added to the 'who is online' stats.
only issue I have is they are weak on support
