I'm just curious why the registration fields lost the validation where it would display a green border if everything was correct. It was a great feature and upped the usability of the registration.

As long as 'Enable XMLHttp request features?' is set to yes it should work.
AFAIK nothing feature-wise was removed from 1.6, only new ones were added

Huh, the XMLHttp requests are turned on so maybe something's messed up on my end. Anyway, I'm glad that they're still there. Thanks
