A feature in ACP that manage the 'src' of images(Buttuns, on\off\lock images, bg's, ETC..) on the forum, maybe part of the skin section.
I hope to see this wonderful feature on the next version...
No new features are being added to 1.6, as it's feature frozen and not that long off gold release.
You can suggest this for 2.0 though.

The next version will be might not be 2.0
There will be maintenance and security releases of 1.6
Eg. MyBB 1.6.1, MyBB 1.6.2, MyBB 1.6.3, etc...
But then it will be MyBB 2.0
