Basically , I want to have the same user accounts on 2 different forums.

It's not possible and I don't think there's a plugin to do it. various people have said they;re going to do it and have said it's 'easy' but so far nobody's done it.

The only EASY way I can think of doing it is with a Cron Job to keep the two user tables synchronized.
You might also try editing the member.php to post to the separate databases, but that seems more difficult.
