Is it possible that the subjects had a prefix added automatically according to the department in which it was created?
As this is a 1.6 feature I have moved it to the appropriate forum.
The best way to go about it would be to just make a select prefix for one forum and then it will either be 'No Prefix' or the custom one. I don't know of any current way to force one but you can always just change the prefix with a custom mod tool.

Not that I know of know. This may be possible with a plugin but I don't know of one which does this.
