In the dashboard, MyBB says the "PHP Version 4.4.9." In cPanel for the same site, is says "PHP version 5.2.13." One of them is wrong.

Note: I found out how to issue a PHP command to check the version. The PHP command agrees with MyBB. IOW, the dashboard is correct, as far as I can see.

It might be possible that your host gives you the option to choose your PHP version, might say 4.4.9 in MyBB as that's what you're using but says 5.2.13 in cPanel as that's the highest version installed?? That's the first thing that springs to my mind.

Thanks. There's a place in the cPanel to switch versions.
