The current ":)" smiley looks more like a ":D"



There are some instances where a simple no-teeth smile is sufficient.



Just a suggestion - try toning down the happiness on the basic no-teeth ":)" smiley.

Remember you can always change your smileys..

But I do think the is bit OTT. So if we toned that one down I suppose we'd tone down too.

They look so happy tho Just look lol...

I do prefer the on MyBB rather than the lip-smile that IPB has - smiles naturally show teeth, lip smiles are like pedo smiles.

Dunno, I like the default one.

I think that 2.0 should have many more and different smileys, including the evil face.

Plain smilies as base package is my preference. It helps to individualize forums when you add more unique ones.

We need an xD smiley! I even mocked one up and posted it in 1.6 suggestions but I think Ryan deleted my thread, maybe I posted it too close to April fools day :p

A photography forum I used to frequent had an "xD" smiley. It was annoying because the stupid thing would show up whenever someone said "xD Picture Card"

Is this "guy" sick? (jokes) I like it but I think we should leave the default smilies because they are easy to customize if somebody wants to do so.
