Folks on my forum are making very long titles that are stretching out the table. Is there a way to limit it? I've not found it

you'd need to alter the database structure, specifically the subjec fields in the posts and threads tables. and change their char limit.
however this might not work alone, u may need to edit all the templates containing the subject field and change their maxlength attributes. then also the newthread.php. can't help with the newthread file now, as i'm not at home
