I was wondering if there has been any changes to the way user accounts are held in the database, as on my site i have joomla and use jfusion and was wondering if this release will brake it.
If there has been any changes what are they so i can tell someone so they can be fixed
There aren't any "major" changes. The only thing removed is the 'remember' field in the database.
so are all the user accoutn bit in the database still held the same way?
Yes, I believe they are. Just one field was removed.
ok is the encryption on password even the same?
What i am going to do is copy my mybb and joomla on to a different directory and put them on different databases and test it again to check it works
Yes, we've not made any changes to anything like that. On the whole 1.6 added stuff, not edited stuff.
