There is no reason to downgrade. As Matt said, you should plan your upgrade before doing so.
Also, by downgrading you just open yourself to all the security fixes made to the software.
i want downgrade only for convert to vb. becaue impex not support mybb 1.6.x.
is there any one that converted mybb 1.6 to vb?

Why would mybb community design a script that would help people to move to other software ?
You must ask that question with the VB guys!
You're not going to get help converting to vB here.
