hi guys how do i edit permissions for groups please.

If you want to edit the user groups (global permissions):
ACP [Users & Groups] -> [Groups] -> [Group XY] -> [Options: Edit] -> [Users and Permissions]

If you want to edit the forum permissions too:
ACP [Forum & Posts] -> [Forum XY] -> [Permissions]
