I just test-converted a vB3.8.x Forum to MyBB 1.6 and I got some weird with the Attachments.

All the attachments I added in the vB Forum with my Username, now shows as this in the list of attachments.

Why that weird addition to my username and how do I get rid of it ?

Also it seems all Attachments seem to be 0 byte files with nothing in it. In the list of attachements it shows the right size of the files but when I download them, they are all 0 byte files. Why did I convert all that when its broken afterwards ?

Try to convert all the attachments again

Incorrect, if you look in your Users list in your Admin CP you will find that you have a username as that also.

Just manually merge the two users together and it will correct it. The reason for this is that the two users had the same username (one on either board pre-merge) but a different email. Otherwise they would have automatically merged.
